Joshua Tree Fall Elopement

So honored to see this editorial featured on 100 Layer Cake, click on the button for more pretty!

Photographed in Joshua Tree, Michelle Lillywhite & I  wanted to have this Winter elopement Inspiration trend-setting for the desert wedding realm, embodying film aspects & remaining etherial. Her dress is a deep copper gown from Free People, which ties into the colder season perfectly (your dress can always be a bolder option!), & the florals mirror colors of desert blooms while the gold foliage spears imitate the sharpness of the cacti. When designing a wedding or elopement, we believe it is super important to have a consistent color palette. Choosing a few colors that tease the eye beautifully & Sticking to them really helps elevate your look! Don't forget what season you are in as well!  thinking outside the box when it comes to representing that season in your details makes for an inspiring day! We had a rad AirBNB to get ready in & photograph details in. Future grooms + brides: such a good idea! Air BNB's can be up-to-par with interior design and give you a nice clean slate to work with! definitely something to consider when creating your "look." ps: These two babes are actually getting married this year, & after getting to connect in this styled editorial they are so excited for their big day! Thank you to all the vendors who helped create this inspo, credit at the bottom! xx
