Definitely one of my favorite engagement sessions. Not only because we had a million people thinking they were celebrities, but because of their witty sense of humor {hello you! yes, you with the cotton candy & bright neon shirt in the background! walk along please, its just an engagement...}, fun energy {which was so easily captured}, and seriously, beautiful connection! James & Neetra had me smiling behind the camera the entire time. When we arrived at the pier - I had no idea I picked the exact spot they went on their first date together. I couldn't believe it - out of all the places in Southern California.

"I picked him up and asked him where he wanted to go, then we drove to this area! We walked around and talked until the sun came up the next day, and we never really stopped talking since!" 

The soft lighting, the tulle skirt, the ocean-related tattoos {instant connection right there alone}, the cute steve madden heels, James' Harley - so many fun details that made this evening beyond perfect. {aside from their gorgeousness as a couple...} Can't get enough. Luckily, I get to capture their wedding in 2016 - so excited for that day James & Neetra! Love getting to know you guys more & more. xo
