Jay & Koko - two wonderful souls that had an beautiful time in Laguna Beach laughing, strolling, & playing in front of my camera. We decided to do a surprise shoot for the announcement of the arrival of a new family member: Baby Collado! Keeping this shoot a secret was only half the fun... Zion, their beloved pup, loved modeling for his pictures, as well as jumping around in the waves to make new friends. Koko made the cutest onesie to add to the photos, & Jay got a great laugh when his Sperry's got completely soaked. But I would say the best part about the entire day was catching up with these two. Our family's have been friends for many years, and back in the day, Koko taught me how to swim when I was 8 years old in Long Beach's aquatic community, or should I say family. Growing up alongside of some inspiring aquatic legends led our families down  similar paths: embracing love, the aloha spirit, and an ample amount of respect for this life. Continuing to pour into friendships from long, long ago is always so rewarding, and so meaningful. Congratulations to these two who are expecting, Jay & Koko! You both share a special spot in my heart :) xoxo
